My Collectormania 11 tickets arrived in the mail! So excited! Never expected them to arrive before I left the country. They are so bright and shiny....
Hamish Blake is on Thank God You're Here tonight looking like (in his words) Bono the Vampire Slayer. Freaking hilarious look but the acting isn't quite cool enough to make the character real. I need to get me a photo of him dressed up like this sometime! He sang the duet Pussycats and Angels with Kate Ceberano. Look for it in the shops!
Only 7 more sleeps till I fly out. This weekend I have been very busy getting the house and yard tidied (with thanks to my helpers!). The packing is coming along slowly. It is all on the spare bed in piles so I can decide what to take and what stays. Temps are still down over there so the big jacket will get water proofed again this week and packed. Actually I'll probably need it in Japan so more crap to take on the plane with me. I have bravely decided on taking a very large book with me. Weighs a ton but I'm hoping it will be so damn interesting to read that I will overlook the whole carrying issue! Can you spell denial?
MOZ is all focussed on Spring Fever activities at the moment while Pure Robbie is all over the shop as usual. Apparently he is playing in a charity soccer match in Des Moines on April 21 so that blows the possibility of me running in to him in London! If he was playing somewhere in the UK I'd kill someone for a ticket but we'll be in Barcelona on that weekend anyway and as much as I love the man I wouldn't bail on a special weekend with the girls for anyone. I think the signs are definately leaning towards him being about to out himself as being on a bi mission (wont commit to gay given his past). Whatever makes him happy.
Actually that will be what I will miss the most while I am away - my music. I wont be taking anything with me and English music can be somewhat poppy. And so much great stuff happening while I'm away. Apparently Jack Johnson did an impromptu Blues Festival appearance and is now living out here. I love that man! Well his music anyway, and have always wanted to see him live. Off to John Mayer on Tuesday night - yay!!!!!
