Doesn't matter how much caffeine I ingest today I can't seem to stop my eyes glossing over. Makes it hard to see the keyboard! Wish I'd bought some eye drops with me.
I started watching the second series of League of Gentlemen last night and 2 eps in I think I only laughed once (when the vet killed some fish at a carnival). Is this series less funny or have I become immune to the characters nuances? The storyline and visuals seem darker but the overall show is just as sick so I'm not sure. I'll keep watching it though.
I'm working at our Redlands office today so I'm listening to a best of Fleetwood Mac cd left on this desk. Not bad. They had some lovely songs that I'd forgotten about. And Stevie Nicks voice - you can spot it on everything she sings. Wonder what's happened to her these days? Last time I saw her in concert I think she was going off stage regularly to have a snort of something. Certainly seemed like it based on her before and after demeanour!
On the weekend I created a very witty and long post and lost the fecking thing while trying to add some pics! Not happy Jan! I'll try and find the time this week to revisit what I was trying to add.
Had a lovely long weekend for Australia Day. Watched loads of dvd's and read and did jigsaw puzzles. Also had yum cha with CCCC and the Sculptor in the Valley for her b'day. So stinking hot we wandered around like limp lettuce leaves the whole time. Thank you for inventing air conditioning whoever you are!
Last night I had to stay up a little late to get yet another ticket to a JM event. Got one in 3 minutes and yes they sold out again (but not as fast as last time). This event is in Soho so I think camp attire is required! I will be seeing this poor man for 5 days straight. My God, wont he be sick of all of us!
I'm currently listening to 'She Will Have Her Way' which is female artists singing Tim and Neil Finn's songs. Quite good if you are a Crowded House fan. I also bought a Smiths best of because I keep reading about how brilliant Morrissey is. Looking forward to giving that a good going over today.
Before I forget, last week I watched the first series of The League of Gentlemen. So freaking funny I ordered the other two series. Can't wait! Those guys are quite sick but it is definately my kind of humour. Love the vet when he blew the backend of the turtle out - still laughing on the inside over that one and I'm an animal lover!
